Since I was told not to ragequit because they weren’t going to pay for what I’d break, my first ragequit was much later.
I was 11, playing Kingdom Hearts. Goddamn Dragon Maleficent. If you died, you had to go through Hollow Bastion all over again, so naturally my first reaction after that was to crawl around the house whining.
The first more normal ragequit was Soul Calibur 3, I broke the controller, good thing it was a generic one.
I’ve never ragebroken a controller, but I did have a nasty habit of rising to my feet when I was excited and hopping uncontrollably. When I screwed up something, were I still in this position, I would begin to ragestamp the ground /very/ hard. My parents didn’t care for it.
Being very flexible, there were many times that I kneed accidentally myself in the face. My first encounter with Dragon Maleficent was one of them.
