Terraria.

Well, my frustration with gaming struck out shortly after this game was released.

To call it a Minecraft clone, is to ignore the fact that this game is more combat and exploration oriented, whereas Minecraft is about building and drooling at the gloriously retro sights— not to mention that there is actually a sense of progression in Terraria.

Minecraft is an art game with exploration and survival aspects, whereas Terraria is an exploration and survival game with action-RPG elements, and with some very light, creative aspects.

However, the creative aspects in Terraria begin and end with building fortresses, towns, or manors to house the various NPCs that you can get to move in.

It’s a fun romp, I acquired the best equipment and beat all of the bosses in about twenty-six-ish hours, and I’m looking forward to the content updates to come.
